The “heavy” snow did arrive, it just wasn’t heavy in Suffolk. Still, there was enough of the white stuff to get me off school for the day
So, there was apparently about 8″ of snow in London, meaning that no buses whatsoever could run. Surely they have snow-ploughs and gritters in London? I know that Britain isn’t geared up for excessive amounts of snow, but, with the state of the country at the moment, it is important that people get to work and make money?
Snow is really boring when you are only with your sister and mother. I envy those who live by a playing field and others of a similar age. I did go for a walk this morning, but it was nothing special, just a normal walk. I can’t see why I was excited when the snow started to stick last night. I did manage to get a few photos, but none are very good. If you are interested, you can see them here. On the grass we got about 3″ which is better than we have had for a long while.
Sleet is predicted up until Friday, and then there should apparently be some more “heavy” snow. A lot of the snow has already started to melt
Well, I am glad that I missed school today, Monday’s are awful. Tomorrow is a good day to start the week on. I also need to finish my English coursework on Christmas Carol. It really doesn’t appeal to me… In February.
Goodbye, all.
